Corrections

Errors are corrected promptly and visibly, on the article itself.

The policy

When eWire News gets something wrong, the article is corrected as soon as the error is confirmed. Corrected articles carry an updated timestamp, and material corrections are explained in an update note on the article so readers can see what changed and why. Errors are never fixed silently, and corrected stories are not quietly removed.

Minor fixes that do not change the substance of a story, such as typos or formatting, are made without a note.

Corrections issued

No corrections have been issued yet. When they are, they will be listed here.

Requesting a correction

Readers who believe a story contains an error can write to mail@ewirenews.com with a link to the article and a description of the problem. Every request is reviewed against the standards published at Standards.
